Welcome to Live Ladders. If you are here it likely means you get better than average enjoyment from one of the games we host ladders for. It is our goal to improve upon those great experiences even further. However, since our aim is to improve the gameplay for everyone involved, we ask that everyone follow some simple courtesies to assist us in having a family friendly envirnoment.

1. We realize that the internet does not provide a tone of voice, which often confuses users into thinking a remark is hateful when it really wasn't. Even if you think someone was being hateful in a remark, please do not fire back. If you need to ask them their tone, either do so politely in the forums or send them a private message to clarify their intent. Moderators will be watching the forums and reserve the right to edit posts or take disciplinary actions where neccessary.

2. Absolutely no racial slurs, religious insults, or bashing of sexual preference. There is no apologizing to back away from those comments. You will be banned immediately.

3. In the world we live in, bad language is everywhere. It can't be avoided. We simply ask that if you can find a cleaner way to say something, please do so. There will be children visiting this site.

4. Everyone's opinion is valid. We all have to start somewhere. Tips to help new players are appreciated. Bossing people around is not. For example...

Acceptable: "I think our team could really use a medic. Would someone mind switching to help us out?"

Unacceptable: "You! At the bottom of the scoreboard! Go medic for me! Now!" (you laugh, but I have heard those exact words)

5. Help where you can. I completely respect most of the people I have had the priviledge to play with online. Almost everyone is willing to help where needed. Whether you are needed to fill a certain role for your team or helping someone learn a new class, this is where we shine. Keep it up.
